She holds a degree in journalism and public relations from Boston University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2024.

She is a story-driven and adaptable multimedia journalist with hands-on experience at NBC10 Boston/NECN, CNN, the Boston Neighborhood Network, The Berkshire Eagle, Essence, and The Boston Globe. Laney is skilled in producing original packages from pitch to air, managing high-profile talent, and creating viral social content — including editing videos for TODAY and publishing breaking news for NBC10 Boston’s 200K+ digital audience. She is committed to storytelling that informs, connects, and resonates across platforms, leveraging expertise in eye-catching social content and attention-grabbing headlines to deliver polished and audience-focused journalism under deadline pressure.
